Pinheiro Neto Advogados has helped a subsidiary of US-Brazilian shopping mall company Aliansce buy holding company Altar, the owner of a stake in a Rio de Janeiro shopping mall.
Ulhôa Canto, Rezende e Guerra - Advogados advised the seller, an investment fund owned by Aliansce co-founder and CEO Renato Feitosa Rique. The 309 million reais (US$92 million) deal is yet to close, but was announced on 29 August.
In 2013, Ulhôa Canto had helped Rique's eponymous real estate investment company increase its stake in Aliansce to 23.59 per cent, paying US$197 million for an extra 12.41 per cent.
