Brazilian food manufacturing company Marfrig Global Foods has hired Linklaters in New York, London and Amsterdam, Maples and Calder in the Cayman Islands and Lefosse Advogados in São Paulo to issue notes worth US$1 billion.
Jones Day in New York, São Paulo and Amsterdam and Pinheiro Neto Advogados in São Paulo advised the underwriters. The deal closed on 11 January.
Marfrig is a leading company in the global protein industry, engaged in the production, sale and distribution of meats and other food products.
